Ranjita  Lama (Kabiraj/Baidya). I have been involved in Ayurvedic field for about 10 years.My father used to be a traditional healer. As many herbs were available in our village, he used to treat patients using those herbs. As I was seeing this, I wanted to pursue higher education in Ayurveda and decided to take Ayurvedic education. I still want to do further education in Ayurveda and I am trying.

I worked for 4 years as a production manager in an Ayurvedic medicine manufacturing company and also worked as an Ayurvedic consultant in an Ayurvedic clinic under the same company as a Kabiraj. After that, i stayed in Kabiraj / Baidya post of Kabiraj for 2 years as the head of the center in the Citizen Health Care Center under the Jeevan Saili( lifestyle management) program of the Government of Nepal.

After that till recently as a Kabiraj i was working as an Ayurvedic Assistant in Madan Bhandari Health Science Institute Hetaunda Hospital.
